A Chicago man has been charged with multiple felonies, including two counts of attempted first‑degree murder of police officers, following a shooting incident earlier this week on the South Side.

Police say the gunfire occurred less than an hour before Reddick was taken into custody. He is also accused of shooting in the direction of a 33‑year‑old woman at the same location. No injuries were reported, and no one was struck by the gunfire.

Reddick faces a total of fourteen felony charges, including attempted murder, aggravated assault of a peace officer, aggravated discharge of a firearm into an occupied building, multiple counts of unlawful use of a weapon by a felon, possession of a firearm by a repeat offender, armed violence, and possession of cocaine.
